JSON / JSONL · Validate and convertChoose JSON formatting, JSONL validation and tidying, or conversion between JSONL and JSON arrays. Paste the data and optionally sort object keys recursively or skip blank JSONL lines. Check error line numbers and record counts, then copy or download JSON or JSONL.
Check the input format and options with this example before using your own data. Random values, file sizes and presentation vary with the input and settings.

JSON requires double-quoted property names and strings. Comments and trailing commas are invalid. A JavaScript object literal is not necessarily valid JSON.
Recursive key sorting sorts object properties, including objects inside arrays. Array item order is preserved. Use JSON Diff when you need to compare two documents instead of changing their layout.
Valid syntax does not establish required fields or business rules. Use JSON Schema Validator for those checks. Numbers beyond the safe integer range can lose precision; represent identifiers as strings.
